Shatrughan's jibe at Rajiv Pratap Rudy, calls him a sidelined leader

Rudy had called Sinha very clever and opportunistic referring to his presence by the party's side whenever a whip was issued in the Parliament, in order to avoid disqualification, and also said that he was sure that BJP would take notice of his presence at the Kolkata rally.

Patna: Bhartiya Janata Party leader Shatrughan Sinha on Monday took a jibe against party spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy, saying he feels sympathy for the former union minister who is quite disappointed because of being sidelined.

Shatrughan didn't take Rudy's name directly, but his comments came in the backdrop of Rudy's negative remarks on Saturday when Sinha attended the opposition rally in Kolkata and broke controversies with the statement 'if speaking the truth is an act of rebellion, then count me as a rebel'.

Sinha, who is BJP MLA from Patna Sahib tweeted "I am not surprised by the statement about me by a young spokesperson of the party who has been an old friend. Some people are saying that my young friend has been under lot of pressure because of being sidelined and that we should only feel sympathy for the young man, who seems to have been forced to make statements like these, or probably strives to keep himself relevant."

Rudy had called Sinha very clever and opportunistic referring to his presence by the party's side whenever a whip was issued in the Parliament, in order to avoid disqualification, and also said that he was sure that BJP would take notice of his presence at the Kolkata rally.

The actor-turned politician has been on BJP's radar after his constant visits to opposition leaders. His presence at the mega rally in Kolkata seems to make him an outcast in the saffron party.
