Lok Sabha elections are not far away now. In such a situation, all the parties are busy announcing the names of their candidates. Meanwhile, in Maharashtra, till now the seat sharing issue between Maha Vikas Aghadi seems to be resolved. Congress has decided to withdraw from its claim on the seats of Sangli, Bhiwandi and South-Central Mumbai. After which now out of 48 seats in the state, Shiv Sena-Uddhav faction will contest on 22 seats, Congress on 16 seats and NCP-Sharad Pawar faction on 10 seats.

Shiv Sena-Uddhav faction has declared its candidates on 21 out of 22 seats. Congress has announced 13 candidates out of its 16 seats. Whereas NCP-Sharad Pawar have announced 7 out of their 10 seats. According to the information, MVA leaders are going to hold a press conference today at 11 am. In which many leaders including Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar and Nana Patole will participate. Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats, which is the highest after Uttar Pradesh (80 seats).

Voting for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in seven phases will begin from April 19. Counting of votes will take place on June 4. Announcing this, the Election Commission had said that about 29.7 crore eligible voters had not voted in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In the last Lok Sabha elections, out of the 50 seats where the least voting took place, 17 seats were from metros or big cities.
