Saket Court grants bail to AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party legislator, Dinesh Mohaniya, was granted bail by Saket Court, on Wednesday.

Mohaniya, was arrested by Delhi Police on charges of molesting a woman. His bail plea was earlier rejected and the MLA was sent to Tihar Jail under 14-day judicial custody.

Mohaniya was picked up by police, on Thursday last, while addressing a press conference.

Mohaniya, the vice chairman of Delhi Jal Board, was the eight AAP MLA to be arrested by Delhi Police since the party came to power for the second time in Delhi February 2015.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of declaring an ‘emergency in Delhi’ after his arrest.
