In Chhattisgarh, along with making Vishnu Deo Sai the Chief Minister, there will be two Deputy Chief Ministers.

According to sources, former Chief Minister Raman Singh will play the role of Speaker in the Chhattisgarh Assembly this time, while Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma will be Deputy Chief Ministers in the state government.

Raman Singh was the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2003 to 2018. Also, this time he was considered a contender for Chief Minister. However, the party has expressed confidence in Vishnudev Sai. In the legislative party meeting, Raman Singh had presented the proposal in the name of Vishnudev Sai, on which all the newly elected MLAs unanimously agreed.

Raman Singh said "It is a big achievement that a qualified candidate has been given the responsibility of CM." Vishnudev Sai will definitely be successful with the new opportunity. Everyone's responsibility in the party is fixed.

BJP has tried to maintain social equation by making a tribal as the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers. Raman Singh comes from Rajput community, Arun Sao is OBC and Vijay Sharma is Brahmin. Along with Raman Singh, Arun Saav was also in the race for Chief Minister of the state. BJP hopes that giving preference to the top leaders of the state will help in keeping factionalism away in the state.

Vijay Sharma is the general secretary of the party. He is considered close to the new Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai as well as Raman Singh. In the recently concluded assembly elections, he defeated Minister Akbar Bhai by about 40 thousand votes.

The number of tribals in the state's population is about 32 percent and Vishnudev Sai, who comes from Jashpur district of Surguja region, fits perfectly into the BJP's action plan. OBC is the most socially influential social group in the state and is followed by the tribal community.

Just a year before the assembly elections in 2022, OBC leader Arun Sao was appointed state president in place of Vishnudev Sai.
