Newly made party of Rajpal Yadav gets 'Symbol' ahead of UP polls

Agra: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav's founded one-year-old Sarva Samabhav Party was assigned the party symbol 'Tyre' by the election commission of Sunday. After getting the party symbol the Yadav announced that the party will contest on 390 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the forthcoming 2017 assembly elections.

The party has also announced its first rally in the Tilhar assembly constituency's Mukteshwar district of the state.

While addressing me4dia on Saturday last in Agra, Rajpal Yadav said, "the sole agenda of his party is the overall development of UP."

"For last seven years I had been thinking to join politics to serve people without any bias or greed. After launching Sarva Samabhav Party last year on September 5 in Vrindavan, we now decided to contest election on 390 seats in UP," said Yadav.

The national president of the party is Shripal Yadav, the elder brother of Rajpal Yadav, who stated that the party has already decided the names of first 13 candidates for assembly elections.

Actor Yadav said, "We did not wanted to comprise on our principle of 'selfless serve' and it was the reason that we dropped the idea of joining any other party." Stating that UP has gone 50 years back in terms of development in the recent past, the comedian actor said, "since I belong to UP our party will go into the polls with development agenda."

Yadav also appreciated the Centre's decision of demonetisation of notes of higher denomination. "My party fully supports this decision," stated Yadav. "It is a wise decision taken in the national interest, and we support it", he further said.

He , however, tried giving his input to PM Modi regarding the inconvenience caused to the people of the state and said that the government should also take appropriate measures to end the inconvenience of people due to demonetisation.
