There is a possibility that this time there may not be any Muslim face in the BJP government in Rajasthan led by Bhajan Lal Sharma.

After the announcement of the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers in the state, now the exercise of cabinet formation is going on in BJP. Caste and regional balance is also being seen in the preparation of the cabinet, but this time no minority, especially Muslim face will be seen in the cabinet. This is the first time in 25 years of history that there is not a single minority in the cabinet. From 1998 to 2018, five governments have had one or two Muslim faces in the cabinet.

Chaudhary Tayyab Hussain, Abdul Aziz and Habibur Rahman were ministers in the first term of the Gehlot government in 1998. Durrumiya and Naseem Akhtar were justice ministers during the second term of the Gehlot government between 2008 and 2013. Saleh Mohammad and Zahida Khan were ministers in the third term of the Gehlot government. Yunus Khan was a cabinet minister in the BJP government from 2003 to 2008 and from 2013 to 2018.
