The process of nomination for the assembly elections has started from Monday but BJP has not yet fielded candidates on five seats.

Even the big leaders are feeling nervous as tickets of many stalwarts have been withheld or denied. The leaders who had earlier were certain of getting nominations were now uncertain if they will get tickets.

Amid the prevailing uncertainties, It is being speculated that the party can announce candidates on three seats on Monday. Preparations are on to field candidates for two seats on November 1. BJP had first declared candidates for Tijara and Banasur, followed by Alwar Rural, Thanagaji, Mundawar and Alwar city.

It was expected that the party would field candidates on all the seats by October 25 but this did not happen. The main reason for this was that there was rebellion in most of the seats from where the party fielded candidates. When the protests intensified, the party started damage control. Many leaders became rebels due to which the party did not take decisions on further seats. Kishangarhbas, Rajgarh-Laxmangarh, Kathumar seats are difficult for BJP.

These can be announced on Monday. Apart from this, there is a plan to field a woman candidate from Behror. There is a dilemma for the party candidate from Ramgarh also. There are two big contenders from here. Both are getting their recommendations made by big leaders.

Congress has also not so far declared its candidates on 105 assembly seats. The grand old party is finding it extremely difficult to select candidates in view of the protests by the leaders and workers against many those whose names were declared in the lists earlier declared.

With the nomination process already in motion, the two main rivals are expected to declare their remaining candidates in the next few days.
