BJP's state election in-charge and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has made it clear that there is no place for rebels in BJP now.

Joshi, who has been holding the election command of BJP in the state for the last one month, said that the party has expelled the rebel candidates contesting against the party's authorized candidates for six years. Before this he will not be included in the party.

Joshi admitted that this time many senior leaders are rebelling against the party and contesting the elections. He said that the party high command has decided that indiscipline will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Joshi said that he himself has informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president JP Nadda about the political situation in Rajasthan. Both the leaders said that the doors of the party are now closed forever for the rebel leaders.

There are many seats in the state where both BJP and Congress are troubled by the rebels or independent or third party candidates. Candidates of both the parties are having to sweat a lot on such seats. These include two seats each from tribal area and eastern Rajasthan. BJP-Congress candidates seem to be in trouble on Aspur, Bayana, Chaurasi and Bhadra seats. There is a situation of collision in Raisingh Nagar also.

BJP has given ticket to sitting MLA Gopichand Meena and Congress has given ticket to new face Rakesh Rot. Umesh Damor from Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP) is again in the fray. Damor had lost the last election by a margin of 5330 votes, but remained active in the area for five years thereafter. Due to their already expert fielding skills and solving caste equations, they are giving competition in the match.
