I have been to jail 31 times and happy to do so, says Raj Babbar

Baghpat: Raj Babbar, who was in district to campaign for the Congress assembly candidate Dr Kuldeep Ujjwal, stated that he was happy going jail if it benefits the farmers of the country.

Babbar, who was interacting with the electorate of the Khekda constituency said, "I have been to jail 31 times fighting for the rights of the farmers and will continue to do so. It gives me the feeling of happiness and satisfaction."

The Congress UP President addressed the Bharatiya Janata Party as, 'Jumlebaz', the one who only speaks and cannot do anything for the benefit of people, and said, "those who are doing nothing but pointing fingers at others, have no right to accuse the Congress of anything."

"BJP has no comparison with the Congress. They have not fulfilled their their promises. They have not done half of what Congress did during its government in the country," the Congress RS member stated.

The three constituencies of Baghpat will go to polls in the first phase of the UP assembly elections. Voting will take place on February 11 and the results would be declared on March 11.
