Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa likely to be next Chief Minister of Punjab; Know about him

New Delhi: The decision of the new Chief Minister of Punjab is likely to be taken today. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is almost certain to become the new CM of Punjab. It is said that the name of Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was agreed in the meeting of Congress MLAs and his name has been sent to the high command. Sonia Gandhi was also informed about the decision of the legislature party through video conferencing.

Punjab New CM:

He can take oath today. It is said that two Deputy Chief Ministers can be made to work out the caste equation. For this, the names of Aruna Chaudhary and Bharat Bhushan Ashu are in discussion. According to sources, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has sought an appointment with the Governor. There is an influx of Congress MLAs at Randhawa's house.

Sukhjinder Singh:

Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa became MLA for the third time in 2017. He was the Minister of Prisons and Cooperation in the government of Captain Amarinder Singh. He has been a Congress MLA from Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab. He was once very close to Captain Amarinder Singh, but later rebelled against him. After Navjot Singh Sidhu became the Punjab Congress President, Randhawa along with three other ministers Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Charanjit Singh Channi and Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria raised the flag of rebellion against Captain Amarinder Singh.

It is said that if Randhawa becomes CM, Congress MLA from Dinanagar Aruna Chaudhary will become Deputy Chief Minister and Congress MLA from Ludhiana West Bharat Bhushan Ashu will become Deputy Chief Minister. Both were also ministers in the Captain Amarinder Singh cabinet.

After the legislature party meeting, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that Captain Amarinder Singh is his elder and the head of the family. One who talks too much doesn't work. Randhawa said that he has been with the captain since 2002 and hopes to continue to do so. On the other hand, Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Pargat Singh and Mohammad Mustafa reached Randhawa's house.
