The Congress has constantly denied allegations leveled against Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra's, alleging that that the actions of the investigating agencies are being driven by the ruling BJP.

Lucknow: The newly appointed General Secretary of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, told media that she is not worried about the questioning of her husband and a businessman, Robert Vadra in a money laundering case.

"These things will keep going on. I am doing my work," she said when asked by reporters about Vadra's ED questioning.

The 47-year-old leader also send a clear message saying that "I stand by my husband," and she wanted to send a "clear message" with her appearance.

The Congress has constantly denied allegations leveled against Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra's, alleging that that the actions of the investigating agencies are being driven by the ruling BJP.

Priyanka chose to be with her husband as he faced the Enforcement Directorate, in its Jaipur Zonal office. Mrs. Vadra took a day-long break from her first visit to Uttar Pradesh this week, she flew back to Lucknow in the evening.

Upon asked about her political views she answered, "I'm learning a lot about the organisation, its structure and the changes that need to be made. I'm getting their (Congress workers) views on how to fight election, according to them."

Priyanka made her debut on Friday 11 with a roadshow in Lucknow drawing thousands to be a part of her 30-kilometer-long mega roadshow in the state.
