Priyanka Lao,Congress Bachao’- Congressmen at it again 

Lucknow: The demand to bring Priyanka Gandhi Vadra into active politics by Congressmen has gained momentum after All India Congress Committee (AICC) brought in political strategist Prashant Kishor for image branding in 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.

Going rather too far, the beleaguered Congress camp is rife with speculation that Priyanka might be projected as the Chief Minister candidate in the coming elections.Congress, which could garner only 28 out of 403 seats in 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections of Uttar Pradesh, were always on the back foot in UP but the recent murmurings about Priyanka have sent a fresh ray of hope ahead of the assembly polls.

It is just an another political ploy or a well- thought out strategy will be seen and confirmed when Prashant Kishor attends a brain-storming session in UPCC on March 10 next. It, however, is made clear on several occasions in the past that the decision about Priyanka would be taken by AICC President Sonia Gandhi or by Priyanka herself.

UPCC spokesman Virendra Madan when asked about this said he had nothing much to say about this speculation as the decision would be taken in this regard by the High Command. He,however, indicates that march 10 meeting might throw some light on this refusing to divulge further.
