Mayawati berates BJP and RSS for their anti-reservation mentality

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati on Sunday called the alliance between Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress in Uttar Pradesh as 'impious'.

Mayawati's reaction came despite Rahul poured words of praise over her during the joint press conference held by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President prior to their mega rally in the state capital on Sunday.

Mayawati said that alliance between SP and Congress is a meagre show off and it would eventually benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh that will observe assembly polls in seven phases starting from February 11.

Mayawati said that BJP has a full control over Samajwadi Party through CBI. She said, "SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav had confessed this on numerous occasions in the past." She added, "Everyone is aware about SP-BJP accord."

Mayawati slams Samajwadi Party government:

- Criminal activities and communal tensions sum up the Samajwadi Party government in the state.

- Congress still is prepared for a major embarrassment in the state.

- Congress has bow down, for electoral benefits, to a party whose chief is a tainted person.

- Samajwadi Party is guilty of Muzaffarnagar Riots and entering into an alliance with it is like "partnering with Modi-led Gujarat Government back in 2002 which had then sponsored communal tensions".
