The first cabinet of Mohan government is likely to be announced on Thursday.

As the inauspicious month of ‘Kharmas’ begins from 16th December, the ruling organization has already started preparations to form the cabinet. According to the sources in the MP BJP, as many as 12 to 14 ministers can be included in the cabinet in the first phase.

Sources said that the cabinet may have a few surprise and some first time MLAs can be included in this cabinet.

There is a religious belief that auspicious works do not happen in Kharmas. Kharmas is starting from 16th December. This will be 15th January 2024. Therefore, efforts are being made to form the cabinet before the auspicious work is completed.

Sources said that for the new cabinet, CM Mohan Yadav has also consulted the BJP organization and other selected leaders. Under this, two rounds have been completed. There was discussion on this also on Wednesday evening.

By making ninth time MLA Gopal Bhargava the Protem Speaker, his chances of becoming a minister are completely reduced. The first three ministers from Sagar were Gopal Bhargava, Bhupendra Singh and Govind Singh Rajput. Still all three were contenders, but now Gopal's chances have reduced after becoming Protem Speaker.

MP chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that the double engine government in the state will set the pace on the path of rapid development. After taking the oath, the first thing I wanted was Baba's darshan and blessings. Now we have to go to a meeting to decide the name of the cabinet.
