The Saini government of Haryana faced the trust vote in the Assembly on Wednesday. This proposal was passed by voice vote inside the House. The special thing is that regarding this trust vote, JJP had issued a whip to all its MLAs and said that no MLA should appear in the House. But despite issuing the whip, five JJP MLAs reached the House. However, all these five MLAs walked out of the House even before the trust vote could be presented. In this way, all the 10 JJP MLAs remained absent in the House during the trust vote.

At the same time, during the trust vote, independent MLA Balraj Kundu also walked out of the house. The total number of MLAs in Haryana Assembly is 90. Whereas BJP has a total of 41 MLAs. Whereas the majority figure is 46. In such a situation, with the exit of all the 10 JJP MLAs (five did not come to the House while the five who came returned from the House) and one independent MLA, the total number in the Assembly is now 79. According to which the majority figure is 40. Whereas BJP has 41 MLAs in the House.

Naib Singh Saini took oath as the new Chief Minister of Haryana on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, Manohar Lal Khattar had resigned from the post of CM. Only after this, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Naib Singh Saini. Apart from Saini, Kanwarpal Gujjar and Moolchand Sharma also took oath as cabinet ministers. Kanwarpal Manohar was the Education Minister in the Part-2 government, while Moolchand Sharma was the Transport Minister in the previous government. Besides, Ranjit Singh, Jaiprakash Dalal and Dr. Banwari Lal have also taken oath as cabinet ministers.

Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, dramatic developments were seen in the politics of Haryana on Tuesday. CM Khattar had resigned from his post. Shortly after this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit president Naib Singh Saini was elected the leader of the legislative party.
