Narendra Modi, BJP have ditched people over black money issue: Akhilesh Yadav

Fatehpur: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Samajwadi Party President and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said that PM and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have ditched people over the black money issue.

Speaking at his rallies in Fatehpur district, CM said that BJP promised to bring black money stashed in foreign banks but failed completely. He added, "The demonetisation move by the Centre was an effort to shift the attention of people through their failures."

Accusing the BJP of playing the politics of division, Akhilesh Yadav said that the alliance between Samajwadi Party and Congress will take the state in path of development.

What else Akhilesh said?

- BJP leaders have migrated from other states to Uttar Pradesh.

- People in the state will punish them in the ongoing elections.

Akhilesh attacks Mayawati:

- Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati is tensed after voting in the first two phases.

- No one knows when she announces alliance with the party with whom she celebrated Rakshabandhan.

The third phase voting of the UP assembly polls will take place on February 19. The results will be announced on March 11.
