Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav,on Wednesday asked party workers to roll up their sleeves for the coming 2017 assembly election in Uttar Pradesh instead of taking it lightly.

“It is the high time when the opposition will leave no stone unturned to trap us and we shall be cautious about their conspiracies. All of you must not take the next Assembly elections lightly as it is going to be a tougher nut to crack this time,” said the SP Chief while addressing the meeting at Dr R M Lohiya auditorium of the party office in the state capital.

“It is the need of the hour to tackle those who mislead the public, however, we shall take a step forward to let the people know about the splendid change brought by the Samajwadi Party,” added Yadav.

What else Mulayam Singh Yadav said:

  • Yadav said that his party members must vow to form a majority government again in the next Assembly polls.
  • The SP Chief claimed that the party had fulfilled most of the poll promises and this information should reach all.
