Prime minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on Congress while replying to the motion of thanks in Rajya Sabha on the President's address.

He said that Congress had worked to break the country. Referring to the statement of Pandit Jawahar Nehru, he said that Congress talks about reservation, but it has been against reservation from the beginning.

Modi said that Congress did not give reservation to OBCs, never gave reservation to the poor of the general category, the Congress which instead of giving Bharat Ratna to Baba Saheb, kept giving Bharat Ratna to its own family, they are teaching us the lesson of social justice.
