Prime minister Narendra Modi on Saturday accused the Congress of rewarding the Rajasthan minister who had insulted women.

Addressing an election meeting at Bharatpur in Rajasthan, Modi highlighted the achievement of the BJP led union government and said that India was looked highly in the world today.

The PM said that Rajasthan lagged behind in every field during the five year rule of Congress. ‘’Congress has made Rajasthan a leader in corruption, riots and crimes. That's why Rajasthan is saying "Jadugarji, Koni Mile Voteji,’’ he added.

‘’There is a saying that one makes a hole in the plate in which one eats….Congress has done the same to you here. Here it was the responsibility of the Congress government to protect the life and property of every citizen. But what happened is that in the last five years, maximum crimes have been committed against sisters, daughters, Dalits and the deprived. The most atrocities have taken place. Be it Holi, Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti. You people could not celebrate any festival peacefully. Riots, stone pelting, curfew... all this has been going on in Rajasthan,’’ Modi remarked.

He said that appeasement was everything for Congress. ‘’Congress can go to any extent for appeasement….Congress has also shattered the confidence of Rajasthan. Can the Chief Minister, who himself says that women file fake rape cases, protect women?,’’ he said.

‘’Can any mother, sister or daughter say such a thing to themselves? Does such a Chief Minister, such a magician, have the right to remain on the chair even for a minute? Will you bid farewell to him now or not?,’’ Modi said.

Congress minister's statement also shows that Congress's views on women have deteriorated so much.

People of Rajasthan risk their own lives for the lives of their sisters and daughters. In Rajasthan, the favorite minister of the Congress’ magician (Ashok Gehlot) should say that this is a men's state, that is why oppression takes place.

Modi said this statement is piercing like a spear in the chest of every mother and sister of Rajasthan. But instead of punishing this minister, Congress has rewarded him with a ticket.
