BJP releases first list of 31 candidates for Manipur Elections
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released the first list containing the names of 31 candidates for the Manipur Assembly Elections 2017.
The decision was taken by the Central Eelction Committee during a meeting headed by party president Amit Shah.
The meeting was also attended by other senior BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
The Manipur will go for polls in two phases. Counting of votes will take place on March 11.
