BJP has focussed its entire election campaign in Madhya Pradesh on the slogan 'Modi in MP's mind, MP in Modi's mind' apparently indicating that it has all but written off chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Chauhan, one of the longest serving BJP chief ministers, seems to be gradually disappearing from BJP's election campaign.

If sources within the BJP are to be believed, during the ticket distribution itself, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had bluntly asked the high command that if he was to be removed, he should be informed immediately.

During the election campaigning also he gave many emotional speeches among the public like "If I go away, will I be remembered or not", "Tell me right, do I feel like a real brother or not" etc.

But as the elections are coming closer, BJP's election campaign is becoming more Modi-centric.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dominated all the public meetings held in Madhya Pradesh. It is not that he did not take the name of CM Shivraj Singh or did not mention his schemes, but between talking about his central schemes and targeting Congress, he did not give as much space to Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the Chief Minister of the state should get.

Shivraj Singh's photo has disappeared from the platforms of all the big leaders. Slogans like 'Modi in MP's mind' are visible. It is certain from this that BJP's election campaign in Madhya Pradesh has been focused on the face of PM Modi only.

If we talk about Congress, the story seems to be the opposite. Only Kamal Nath is seen in the posters of Congress Election Campaign. Leave aside Digvijay Singh, Kantilal Bhuria and Suresh Pachauri, the photos of the party's national president and even Priyanka (Priyanka Gandhi) and Rahul Gandhi are missing. Only Kamal Nath dominates.
