New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced about the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held next year. According to sources, BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh will meet party chief JP Nadda in Delhi. The strategy for the assembly elections will be discussed in this meeting, which will last for two days on Wednesday and Thursday.

UP Assembly Elections:

Sources said that along with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, his two deputy Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya will also be present in the meeting. During this, all BJP MPs from both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been asked to attend the meeting.

The source said that in the meeting they will be instructed to reach out to the people in their constituencies and be aware of the problems faced by them. They will also be asked to increase participation with the people of their constituencies. Apart from this, MPs can also be asked to apprise the people of their area about the work done by both the state and central government.

CM Yogi to attend the meeting:

BJP has sounded the election bugle in Uttar Pradesh. On July 16, party president JP Nadda had an important meeting with the members of the Uttar Pradesh BJP Working Committee in New Delhi. The coordination meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and BJP has also been held in Lucknow on 18th July.

Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are due in 2022. The BJP had returned to power in the state in the 2017 assembly elections. The BJP has 309 MLAs, SP 49, BSP 18 and Congress 7 in the 403-member Uttar Pradesh assembly.
