Amritsar: Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, on Thursday, said that he has no idea about who is 'Gopal Singh Chawla', the pro-Khalistan leader with whom he was clicked during former's visit to Pakistan recently.
Sidhu, who visited Pakistan for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor, said that daily tens of thousands of people were clicked as they showered so much love. He added, "Among them who is Chawla or Cheema that I do not know."
Sidhu was strongly criticized by the opposition parties for the photograph.
The Shiromani Akali Dal Thursday asked the Punjab cabinet minister whether "India is his priority or not".
Chawla is linked to Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Commitittee (PSGPC) where he works in the capacity of general secretary.
Chawla has earlier been clicked with JuD terrorist Hafiz Saeed, the Mumbai attacks mastermind.
