Uttar Pradesh

Three waves of voting have been completed in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The BJP has realized this while it is still in the early phases. That this time, Uttar Pradesh will be able to slip through his fingers. The uncertainty that has resulted may be seen in the remarks made by the BJP's top leaders. BJP has established a new strategy of bringing claims against the opposition, ignoring democratic and linguistic issues, ethics, and adherence to the code of conduct in order to ruin the opposition's image in Uttar Pradesh elections, which took place last year as well. When Prime Minister Modi addressed the cremation site cemetery, civil society was taken aback, questioning if they were so concerned about winning the election that they were willing to sacrifice the dignity of the prime ministership. It became clearer as time went on that when it comes to attaining power, Modiji becomes Narendra Modi, not Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but simply the star campaigner for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It doesn't matter whether it's the municipal polls or the legislative elections; Modiji wants to win every election, no matter what.

They can't tolerate the feeling of defeat. In Jharkhand, he had spoken about recognizing it by its garments; in West Bengal, he had addressed Mamata Banerjee by saying didi o didi, which was a pejorative manner of expressing. Moreover, in these assembly elections, Modiji is setting an example by making some more lower-class utterances, implying that there is no harm in coming down to power to a greater extent than before. To determine the Hindu-Muslim agenda in the by-election, the BJP made less reference to the Ram temple and greater use of phrases such as 'Abbajaan' and "Jinnah" than in the previous election. The penalty meted out to the culprits of the recent Ahmedabad attacks, which is being used as an electoral gimmick by the BJP, is another example of this trend.

Using evidence linking the father of one of the defendants in the Ahmedabad case to the SP, federal minister Anurag Thakur was the first to confront Akhilesh Yadav and his government. Anurag Thakur's choice of words in his attack on the SP chief demonstrates that they are not just directing their ire at the SP, but also at the whole community. Some BJP politicians have already gone popular in recordings in which they can be heard clearly shouting Jai Shri Ram, explaining the difference between a beard and a braid, or challenging the patriotism of Muslims.

The Election Commission, on the other hand, is treating all of these declarations as though they represent a triumph for the BJP. It is distressing to see such a fundamental institution come crashing down. But what is even more concerning is the way in which the government, which has the job of safeguarding democracy and the Constitution in the nation, is itself becoming embroiled in the election process.

Although Anurag Thakur's comment was insufficient to defame the SP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went a step further and alluded to the Ahmedabad bombings, claiming that the explosives that went off in Gujarat were carried by individuals riding bicycles. Modiji expressed amazement as to why the terrorists selected the bicycle over other modes of transportation.

Because the bicycle is the party's emblem, Modiji intended to malign the SP by alluding to the bicycle in the terror attacks. It is worth noting that the bicycle is also the party's symbol. Previously, the BJP had a habit of mistaking the SP's topi for its own identifying symbol. Modiji, on the other hand, has gone above and beyond the bounds of humiliation this time. The bicycle is not just the SP's electoral emblem; it also serves as its logo. For millions of Indians, it is also a convenient form of transportation. As the price of oil continues to rise, more and more people are exploring the use of bicycles as a viable alternative. A large number of individuals ride bicycles to maintain their health. Even though people are concerned about the environment, cycling is encouraged to ensure that pollution does not spread and that people's health is not jeopardized. But, first and foremost, bicycles are a more affordable and easily accessible mode of transportation for the millions of impoverished people who must go several kilometers away from their homes and communities in order to earn a livelihood. Many individuals use bicycles to transport woolen garments, chilies, spices, and repair equipment, and the existence of these moving stores has made the lives of millions of people a little bit simpler.

Mail is delivered by bicycle in isolated places when no other mode of transportation is available. Thousands of people returned to their homes on bicycles during the Corona period, since buses and railroads were all halted as a result of the lockdown enforced by Modiji during the time of the event. During the lockdown, Jyoti Kumari, a young woman from Bihar, rode her bicycle 1200 kilometers from Gurugram to Bihar, where she dropped off her wounded father at his house. Ivanka Trump dubbed her "Bicycle Girl," and she received acclaim from him as well as from the rest of the community.

Is it possible that Modiji had forgotten about the accolades he received from his buddy Donald Trump's daughter? Modiji is also unlikely to recall that, in the early days of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), rockets for missiles were transported on bicycles. A large number of members of Parliament have been arriving in the Parliament of this nation by bicycle. Modiji, on the other hand, has never seen the bicycle being introduced into Indian culture in this manner; he has only witnessed the bicycle being utilized in terrorist assaults. Because they are not interested in Indian society, but rather in gaining political power. Although Modiji may be astonished that the terrorists utilized a bicycle, the general public is not surprised that Modiji only spotted this particular kind of bicycle throughout his investigation.
