New Delhi: Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement " BJP led NDA's doors are open for old friends", Dravida Munnetra Kazagam president, M.K.Stalin said on Friday, that his party will never be a part of an alliance that is led by Narendra Modi.

Modi had earlier stated that BJP is ready to amalgamate the parties that had collaborated with it earlier when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister.

DMK was an ally of BJP during the reign of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. However, the DMK chief is in no mood to twin with the party. Party president Stalin viciously remarked that "Modi is not Atal Bihari Vajpayee".

Accusing Modi of negating social justice in the country, Stalin said that he is only 'a man of words and not a man of action'. He has been constantly speaking about national growth but has hardly done anything to strengthen national solidarity.

During his election campaign, he called himself a well wisher of the backward and scheduled castes, but after gaining power, he forgot his vows and kept aside the integrity of the country.

Stalin said that former DMK chief Late M. Karunanidhi had once called Vajpayee 'a right man in a wrong party'. He said that Modi's comparison of himself with Vajpayee is a disgrace to the renowned personality and this is just a vote gimmick to win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

He said that DMK formed an alliance with the Vajpayee government as they backed his ideas of economic growth . The party evased the alliance as soon as it saw communalism gripping BJP. As of now, there are clearly no chances of DMK joining the alliance with BJP.
