Dimple and Priyanka share frame in new poster; Alliance on cards?
Kannauj: Waving posters of Akhilesh Yadav's wife and Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav along with Congress' Priyanka Gandhi Vadra fuel speculations in the political circles about possible alliance between Akhilesh-led Samajwadi Party faction and the Congress in upcoming UP assembly elections.
The hoardings with pictures of both the women figuring prominently have been put up by Congress workers - Anil Chaudhary and Irshad Ullah.
The slogan reads, “Mahilaon ka UP mein bajega danka, jab saath aayengi Dimple aur Priyanka".
Sources say that Akhilesh has asked Dimple to negotiate with Priyanka over the alliance. It may be mentioned that the Samajwadi Party is on the verge of a split following the internal feud among the Yadav clan and EC may soon seize party's election symbol 'Cycle'.
Akhilesh had in past too expressed his willingness for an alliance with Congress and the present scenario in the political circle of Uttar Pradesh suggests the same.
