After registering major win at UP assembly polls Keshav Prasad Maurya was given the charge of the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
Lucknow: Giving the political sphere a major setback, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya recently announced his resignation.
His resignation from the post of Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNN) Chairman has created a political whirl. However, the reasons for his resignations are still unknown.

Know who is Keshav Prasad Maurya:
-Keshav Prasad Maurya has worked as the UP state president of BJP.
-Maurya was a member of the sixteenth Lok Sabha.
-In the 2014 elections, he contested on BJP ticket from Phulpur seat of Uttar Pradesh and got elected.
-On March 19, 2017, he sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
-Keshav Prasad Maurya has a strong holds on the OBC community of Uttar Pradesh.
-After coming into contact with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and BJP, he has been actively participating for nearly 18 years.
-Keshav Prasad Maurya took part in many movements for example 'Ram Janambhoomi', 'Goraksha' and for Hindu community's interest and also went to jail for it.
-As a BJP candidate from Phulpur, he registered a historic victory with three lakh eight thousand three hundred eight (308308) votes. His work to make Allahabad as a smart city is also appreciable.
-Many criminal cases are also registered against him. According to an affidavit given to the Election Commission during the Lok Sabha elections, ten serious allegations are registered against him.
