Congress releases second list of 25 candidates for UP polls

Lucknow: Congress on Wednesday released second list containing the names of 25 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

The list was announced by the Congress general Secretary Madhusudan Mistry. The prominent names in the list include present MLAs- Ajay Kapoor (Kidwai Nagar), Anugrah Narayan Singh (Allahabad North) and Aaradhna Mishra (Rampur Khas).

Uttar Pradesh will go for polls in seven phases, starting from February 11. The counting of votes will take place on March 11.
