Congress on Tuesday released its election manifesto for the forthcoming assembly election in Rajasthan.

The manifesto, which was named Public Manifesto-2, the party has included dozens of announcements related to the public.

The biggest announcement made by the people of the state is related to health. The party has announced to increase the amount of Chiranjeevi Health Protection Insurance from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot released this manifesto at Jaipur on Tuesday.

The manifesto says that the government would create 10 lakh new jobs for the youth, including four lakh new government jobs. It has also promised installing CCTV cameras in public places for the safety of women.

Apart from this, in addition to the discount in travel fare issued in transport, free monthly coupons will also be issued. Along with the appointment of guards for women's safety, the party will also provide MSP law for farmers and interest-free loans up to Rs 2 lakh after the formation of the government.

The period of employment under MNREGA for workers will be increased from 100 to 150 days. Similarly, the period of employment under Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme will be increased to 150. Auto and taxi drivers will be included in the Gig Workers Act. IVF national package for childless couples will be included in Chiranjeevi.

Following are the main features of the manifesto-

Rajiv Gandhi Events will be organized like rural urban Olympics

-Establishment of centers of excellence at divisional level for encouragement of players.

-State level Khel Mitra cadre will be formed

-Double number of new model schools will be opened

-New state education policy will be brought

-Internship programs will be conducted for state universities

-Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship will be expanded

-The scope of RTE (Right to Education) will be extended to class 12

- Construction of grounds, libraries, gyms etc. in villages

-Aim of 100% internet communication in villages

-Establishment of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Rural Development Research Institute

-Ensuring 'affordable' and 'housing for all'

-District Innovation Fund will be Rs 10 crore and Block Innovation Fund will be Rs 1 crore.

-Panchayati Raj representatives will be given monthly honorarium

-Shepherd Welfare Board will be established for the betterment of the nomadic community.
