Himachal Pradesh minister and Congress candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha seat Vikramaditya Singh has challenged BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut to an open debate on her vision for the constituency. Addressing a press conference at Shimla, Singh said, "Our democracy is a healthy democracy... she should participate in debates and tell people about his point of view. I will also tell people about the work I have done for Mandi along with my vision for the constituency.

He targeted Kangana for her speeches in election meetings and said that wherever she goes, she has only one agenda - to keep repeating the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Singh said, 'Although we have a lot of respect for Prime Minister Modi, but instead of completely trusting the Prime Minister, she should at least tell the people about his vision.'

Singh said, 'She says she is a big actress...she should come forward and tell the people of Mandi what work she will do for them and I am sure the youth, women and people of Mandi will appreciate it. .'

Singh claimed that Kangana has no knowledge about the history and geography of the state. 'She only reads the scripts that her screenwriters give her and when someone asks her a question, she has no answer.'

Meanwhile, Kangana targeted Singh and said that if former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was alive today, he would have scolded Vikramaditya Singh for making 'derogatory remarks' against him and asked him to apologize.

Kangana was addressing a meeting in Nankhadi area of Mandi constituency. He said, 'We can forgive him (Vikramaditya Singh) for his remarks, but we cannot hand over the leadership to him.'
