New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said at the 'Mehangai Hatao rally' in Rajasthan's Jaipur on Sunday that India is a country of Hindus, not Hindutvawadis, who want to remain in power under any circumstances. He said that if there is inflation and misery in the country, then it has been done by Hindutvawadis. Addressing a rally here against rising inflation, Rahul Gandhi said that this is a country of Hindus and not of Hindutvawadis.

Rahul Gandhi targets PM Modi:

If there is inflation and pain in the country, it is done by Hindutvawadis. He hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying his friends had "ruined" the country during the NDA government. Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi and his three-four industrialist friends destroyed the country in seven years.

PM Narendra Modi stabbed farmers in the back said Rahul. He said that I am a Hindu and not a Hindutvawadi. Rahul said that China has taken our land in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, Modi says that nothing happened. 700 farmers were martyred, Modi says nothing happened. A lot has happened, many people have lost their lives and now the country has to move forward.

Rahul Gandhi in Jaipur:

At the Congress's Mehangai Hatao rally in Rajasthan's Jaipur, on Sunday, Rahul Gandhi said that Hindutvawadis spend their whole life in search of power. They want nothing but power and they can do anything for it. They follow the path of 'Satyagraha' and not 'Sattagraha'. This country belongs to Hindus, not of Hindutvawadis. According to him, there is competition between 'Hindu' and 'Hinduvadi' in Indian politics.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday hit out at the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, alleging that the BJP government wants to sell whatever her party has built in 70 years to its industrialist friends.
