New Delhi: Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh once again had to appear in front of the three-member Kharge panel to remove the squabbles in the Punjab Congress. In this meeting that lasted for three hours, the Captain blamed the rhetoric of former minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for the ongoing controversy in the Punjab Congress.

According to a media report, the captain said that Sidhu is the root of all the turmoil. The captain said that he tried several times to resolve differences with Sidhu but he himself was intent on closing all the doors.

Party sources say that the Captain also said that no post can be given to Sidhu in these circumstances. On the other hand, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat has said that Sidhu is batting in his style, he has not said anything against the party. Rawat has also indicated a major reshuffle in the Punjab Congress.

CM Amrinder blames Sidhu:

According to party sources, the three-member committee has also taken strong cognizance of the statement made for the government and the party. The Captain said that Sidhu's statements are likely to cause damage in the upcoming elections. He also met senior Congress leader Ambika Soni. It is being told that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also angry with Sidhu's rhetoric.

He has instructed the party leaders not to make such statements which will harm the party. He said that if anyone has displeasure, he can put his side before the Punjab in-charge or the Congress high command. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, PPCC President Sunil Jakhar and Navjot Sidhu have been called for a meeting with Rahul Gandhi. There are possibilities of meeting Rahul Gandhi with these leaders today.
