Lucknow: All is not well in the BSP house , it seems, as some Zonal coordinators of the Mayawati led Party have raised questions on the functioning of the senior party leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui who according to them is acting in the same way as the expelled leader Jugal Kishore did in 2012 .

On the condition of anonymity, a zonal coordinator told newztrack.com that BSP might lose heavily in the 2017 assembly elections owing to ticket distribution of assembly tickets in an arbitrary manner by Siddiqui.

Siddiqui to take a call on 130 seats:

Party supremo Mayawati has entrusted the responsibility to Naseemuddin to take a call on 130 seats from Meerut, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad divisions. according to party sources.

The Coordinators asssiting him were in for major surprise when Naseemuddin Siddiqui changed about 70 per cent of the candidates of these 130 seats.

Coordinators sidelined:

If party sources are to be believed that many coordinators, who tried to apprise the situation to Mayawati, have been sidelined.

Vijay Pratap, Dharma Prakash Bharati, Gore Lal Jatav, Atar Singh Rao, Tribhuvan Dutt, Mithayi Lal, Chhotu Ram, Munkad Ali, Babu Seva Ram, Ashok Kumar, Gaya Charan Dinkar and R D Gautar are some of the coordinators who have been sidelined by Siddiqui.

Do not try to become Ambedkar:

Coordinators say that Siddiqui demoralizes the party workers and used to say ‘Ambedkar Banne Ki Kosish Na Karo’ (Do not try to become Ambedkar), which is also causing a discomfiture among party workers.

Conspiracy to send Mayawati in Central politics:

Zonal coordinators have even gone to an extent alleging that it was the conspiracy of Naseemuddin Siddiqui to send Mayawati into Centre politics.

They further allege that the erratic ticket distribution makes the Bahujan Samaj Party lose the advantage of poor law and order in the state in the 2017 assembly elections.

Jugal Kishor also did the same:

In the review of party’s loss in the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections is UP, it had come to the notice that expelled leader Jugal Kishor distributed tickets to 120 weaker candidates.

  • He also sidelined dedicated workers.
  • The BSP lost over 100 seats due to this
  • Senior leaders had apprised Mayawati on this issue.
