BJP's Central Election Committee meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday regarding the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, National President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the meeting.

Many senior leaders from Chhattisgarh including State President Arun Sao, former CM Dr Raman Singh and OP Chaudhary also attended this meeting. All these leaders had reached the airport in different vehicles on Saturday night. There was no conversation with the media.

However, party sources said that now after the last round of talks in Delhi regarding the election environment of Chhattisgarh, all the leaders will get involved in action.

Along with Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh were also discussed in the Central Election Committee meeting. Bhartiya Janata Party has announced candidates for 21 seats in Chhattisgarh. Candidates are to be announced for 69 seats. This list will be released soon.

In this meeting, apart from the list, how to contest the elections, on which issues to focus, which issues will be brought prominently in the manifesto, which caste and class to focus on more. Many such things were discussed.

BJP state president Arun Saav said that only the winning candidate will be given the ticket. Such a candidate, who gets the blessings of both the society and the workers, will be the face of BJP in the electoral battle. This time in Chhattisgarh, BJP will go to seek votes in the name of prime minister Narendra Modi. The CM face has not been decided.

Panels of some names were sought on many seats. The central team of Delhi has also conducted its survey in different assembly constituencies. People have been selected on the basis of inputs received from state leaders and survey by the central team.
