Video: BJP Member of Parliament falls into a sewage drain

Jamnagar: In a rare incident, Poonam Maadam, a Bhartiya Janata Party Member of Parliament from Gujrat fell into the 10-feet-deep sewage drain, while talking to municipal officials, in Jamnagar, on Monday.

The MP from Jamnagar has received injuries on her head. She was pulled out by people accompanying her.

She was talking to municipal officials over a drive to remove encroachers in the city when the concrete slab beneath her fell.

Maadam is a BJP parliamentarian from BJP who grabbed grabbed the headlines in April 2015 when she danced during a religious programme in Gujarat’s Veraval.

Devotees at the programme had allegedly on her about Rs Three crore within minutes.
