New Delhi:* Political turmoil between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) in Haryana has intensified amidst discussions of the alliance breaking. A crucial meeting of the legislative party is scheduled this afternoon in Haryana, and according to sources, there is a possibility of the state government's cabinet resigning collectively today. After that, preparations will be made for the formation of a new government from scratch.

Indeed, the BJP aims to contest all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana independently. In the previous Lok Sabha elections, the party had won all 10 seats in the state. Demand for seats is being made from the BJP by the JJP, but the party is not ready to fulfill this demand. Consequently, the alliance of both parties is on the verge of breaking.

**Reasons Behind the Possible Breakup of Both Parties' Alliance**

Sources suggest that JJP leader Dushyant Chautala had a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. During this meeting, he raised demands for seats for his party during the Lok Sabha elections. Chautala also met with the National President of his party, Jagat Prakash Nadda, on Monday. During these meetings, demands were made for one to two seats by the JJP, but the BJP is not ready to fulfill this demand.

In fact, the BJP is fully prepared to contest elections on all Lok Sabha seats in the state. Like the previous Lok Sabha elections, the party wants to demonstrate its strength this time as well. In such a situation, speculations of the alliance between the two parties breaking are rife. The BJP unit in Haryana has also advocated for contesting elections independently on all seats, and the party high command is likely to decide in this direction.

**Major Decision Expected in the Legislative Party Meeting**

According to sources, a crucial meeting of the Haryana legislative party is scheduled for this afternoon. Independent legislators supporting the Khattar government have also been invited to this meeting. Arjun Munda and Tarun Chugh will participate in this meeting as observers on behalf of the party high command.

It is believed that after this meeting, the Khattar government might resign. Assembly elections are due in Haryana at the end of this year, and hence, there could be attempts by the BJP leadership to form a new government in the state.

Meanwhile, independent legislator Nayan Pal Rawat of Haryana made a significant statement after meeting Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He stated that the process of breaking the alliance between the BJP and the JJP has begun, and the state government could resign soon.

**Possibility of BJP Forming a New Government**

To secure a majority in the state assembly, the support of 46 legislators is required, and the BJP currently has the support of 41 legislators. Besides the six independent legislators supporting the Khattar government, there is also the support of Gopal Kanda. Thus, the government has the support of 48 legislators. The JJP has the strength of 10 legislators, but even without the support of the JJP, the BJP could succeed in forming a new government.
