Ahead of the BJP campaign in Gurugram many major steps have been taken by the party workers to ensure a large crowd in the high-profile event. The party workers are said to be asked to gather the crowd of not less than 50,000 at the time of event.

According to the sources two prominent party leaders Rao Inderjit Singh-MP and Minister of state and Rao Narbir Singh-Haryana cabinet minister-have been visiting and urging people from their constituencies to attend Modi's rally on Monday,

"This is a very crucial event for all BJP leaders who are aspiring to get a party ticket for the coming Lok Sabha and Haryana elections. Last month, the state leadership had to to face embarrassment as it could not gather enough crowd for the Rohtak rally. Thus, it has now given an ultimatum to Gurugram leaders to avoid a similar embarrassment this time around. The leaders will be distributing T-shirts and caps of different colours to the people brought in by them so that the party leadership gets to know who pulled in the largest number,” said a senior BJP functionary.

BJP is not only pulling all its strings to win the 2019 Assembly elections with full majority but also trying to get benefitted from the feud within it's political rival INLD. A BJP party worker revealed about the timing of the rally saying:

"Earlier, the PM was supposed to inaugurate the KMP Expressway remotely. But, the party realized that if he held a rally instead, taking time out of his busy schedule, it might help dent the Indian National Lok Dal (INDL) vote bank. The PM will showcase the achievement of the Haryana government in the past four years and inaugurate a few development projects as well on Monday,"said another party leader.

Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala's elder son Ajay Singh Chautala declared he will set up a new party, after the INLD split on Saturday.
