Lucknow: BJP is clearly in the lead in terms of vote share in U.P. in the next Lok sabha election. A survey conducted by Newstrack/Apna Bharat shows a vote share of 40.37% for the BJP in U.P. in the coming polls.
As far as Congress is concerned, the party may garner 17.60 % votes. This will be a big gain for Congress as it had a vote share of only 7.50% in the last elections.
Narendra Modi is the clear cut choice for the prime minister candidate as 51.46% respondents are in his favor. Rahul Gandhi is choice of only 21% people.
