BJP has finalised the names of 230 MLAs, who are members of different state assemblies, who will be deployed in all the assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, where assembly poll is scheduled to be held in November/December this year, to supervise electoral preparedness of the party nominees.

According to the BJP sources in Bhopal, the names of the MLAs, who were considered to be experts in election management, would soon be made public.

Sources said that these legislators would be camping in the constituencies they have to supervise and prepare a report about the prospects of different nominees suggested by the state leadership and submit their reports to the BJP central leadership so that the latter could take a decision on them.

Sources said that all these legislators have been asked to come to Bhopal for a special training. Their training camp would be held on August 19. Senior BJP leaders from the central unit of the party would be interacting with these legislators and train them about their work, sources said.

These MLAs would leave for their respective assembly constituencies on August 20.

These MLAs would be camping in their respective assembly constituencies for a week during which they would be meeting a cross-section of the electorate and gather their feedbacks on the issues concerning the area as well as the performance of the sitting legislators from there.

‘’The MLAs will not take help of the local leaders…..they will keep their work confidential….their reports will be sent to the central leadership of the party,’’ said a senior MP BJP leader in Bhopal.

The leader said that the main focus would be on the 103 assembly seats which the BJP had lost to the Congress in the 2018 assembly poll.
