Arvind Kejriwal attacks Najeeb Jung

New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the LG has no right to check the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's files.

He also wondered if the LG was their headmaster or principal.

He asked who has given LG the power to check files of his government's works, claiming that only the people possess the right and they can even throw him out of the government.

"Whether we have committed corruption, thefts or practised irregularities, who has given him (LG) right to check our files. Is he our headmaster or principal? Only people possess right to check our work and they can even throw us out of power. Will LG now check whether CM has done a good homework or not," said Kejriwal at an event.

He made the remarks after he was questioned about files of his government's decisions and alleged irregularities which are being probed by Jung.

Earlier in November, the Shangulu Committee, formed by Jung to check 400 files of the AAP government's decisions, had submitted its report to LG's office.

According to the sources, the committee has pointed out that the AAP government violated several rules in making decisions.
