It is to be recalled that PPA had embraced Khandu and 42 other Congress lawmakers earlier in mid-September 2016.

PPA president Kafia Bengia, in an order issues on Thursday, announced that Pema Khandu has been removed as the Leader of the legislature party and have been barred from practicing any of the powers given to him as the leader of the legislature party.

PPA has also directed all its legislators not to attend any of the meetings called by Khandu saying that disciplinary action would be taken against anyone if found violating the order.
