Amar Singh praises Mulayam Singh after being expelled from SP

Lucknow: Belying his emotions over his expulsion from the Samajwadi Party on Saturday, Amar Singh heaped praise on party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for his endeavour to keep the family united. ''Mulayam Singh has once again proved that he is a great and mature politician and will never let the family and party split,'' he stated.

Choosing not to comment on Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav or on the internal matter of the Yadav family, the politician came out with a unique style of describing his hope of better future for the party. The 24-hour family drama which had started with the expulsion of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and SP General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav ended with revocation of both the expulsion but in turn the ouster of Amar Singh from the party.

In his tweet,Amar Singh restrained himself in expressing his emotions despite his expulsion, instead, quoted lyrics sung by the yesteryear's famous singer Mohd. Rafi while expressing his opinion over the family rift. "Raat bhar ka hai mehman andhera,Kis ke roke ruka hai savera,Raat jitni bhi sangeen hogi,Subah utni hi rangeen hogi," Singh said.
