Akhilesh loyalist minister Pawan Pandey expelled from party by Shivpal

Lucknow: Cracking the whip on a minister, close to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the state Samajwadi Party President Shiv Pal Singh Yadav expelled Pawan Pandey from the party for six years.
He made the announcement at the party headquarters on Wednesday. Pawan pandey was accused of slapping senior party leader Ashu Malik who had gone to meet the CM on Monday. A FIR in this connection was also filed in the state capital.

Shiv Pal said that while the minister had been expelled from the party, he would write to the CM to sack him as a minister.
