OMG! No Aussie features in Shane Warne's all-time IPL playing XI

Mumbai: Australian spin legend and former Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Shane Warne has come up with his all-time playing XI from Indian Premier League (IPL) over the past ten years.

Surprisingly, the world-class leggie, who led RR to title victory in the inaugural season of IPL back in 2008, did not name any Australian cricketer in his dream XI.

Among the overseas players, he preferred Chris Gayle from West Indies, Brendon McCullum from New Zealand, Jacques Kallis from South Africa and Lasith Malinga from Sri Lanka.

He chose former Indian captain MS Dhoni as team's wicket-keeper as well as skipper, while also featured Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav as Indian players.

He, however, apparently clarified the reason as well saying, "Remember, you are only allowed four overseas players.

The Aussie took to Facebook to share his dream IPL team and also sought suggestions from the fans about their IPL dream XI.
