Mumbai: Virat Kohli is not new to glamour pace. He has conquered hearts with his cricketing skills and looks, he has ruled the ramp and with his attitude and killer smile… and he broke hearts of opponent teams and millions of girls out there too... (wink)

The latest victory to his kitty is (other than marrying beautiful Anushka) that the Indian cricket team captain has dethroned Bollywood’s Badshaah to become the most valuable celebrity brand in the country.

Seems like lady luck is working in his favour…!

According to a report published by Duff & Phelps as Rise of the Millennials: India’s Most Valuable Celebrity Brands, Kohli has replaced Shah Rukh Khan with a brand value of USD 144 million registering a growth of 56 per cent from last year.

Virat is now the first choice of brands to engage and attract consumers. His on-field performances and off-field charisma has made him increase his endorsement fees as well.

Duff & Phelps managing director and region leader – India, Japan and Southeast Asia Varun Gupta said that it was for the first time someone has replaced the King Khan.

Deepika Padukone (USD 93 million)
