New Delhi: If you have not yet shopped for the coming festivals including Navmi, Dussehra, Diwali and few more, its time to take a call as banks will remained shut for 11 days. In the shopping season, the bank offs may affect shopaholics if they did not completed their transactions before October 7.

The halt in bank services will be observed on the following days:

  • October 2: Gandhi Jayanti
  • October 8: Second Saturday
  • October 9: Sunday
  • October 10: Navmi
  • October 11: Dussehra
  • October 12: Moharram
  • October 16: Sunday
  • October 22: Second Saturday
  • October 23: Sunday
  • October 30: Diwali
  • October 31: Diwali

The major impact of so many holidays together will be seen on ATMs which will face extra burden as they will be an only means to make cash transactions. Bank managements are making efforts to avoid any means of inconvenience in transactions via ATMs.
