Lucknow, Hitting out at the Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on her 60th birthday eve, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav termed BSP as ‘undemocratic’ party and ridiculed her for withdrawing the assembly ticket to a woman BSP candidate after she posted a photograph of she touching the feet of the BSP Chief which later on went viral on social media.

“BSP Chief cancelling the ticket of a woman candidate shows the functioning and democratic work culture of blue brigade”, said Akhilesh

Claiming Samajwadi Party (SP) as the most democratic party, UP CM said anyone could take selfie with him and even post it on social media. He even remarked SP as the most liberal parties.

In an oblique reference on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister held Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) responsible for spreading the ‘Selfie disease’. He was addressing a function here at Janeshwar Mishra Park.

Akhilesh urged the party workers to gear up for Mission-2017 by saying that now everyone should eye on the assembly election. He also criticized the opposition for raising the questions on the development of the state.

It may be recalled that, BSP candidate Sangeeta Choudhury lost the assembly ticket from Atrauli seat in Aligarh district after she posted photographs of her and her children with Mayawati few days back.
