Senior IAS officer Sanjay Agarwal replaces Rama Raman

Lucknow: After giving the additional charge of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway to senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Sanjay Agarwal of 1984 batch, the Uttar Pradesh did the same for which Rama Raman was scolded by the Allahabad High Court.

Agarwal, the Principal Secretary for energy and industrial development department has got additional charges of these authorities after the court ordered to seize the powers of IAS officer Rama Raman.

Earlier, on Friday last, the Allahabad High Court directed to transfer case to the high-powered administrative board set up by the state government for the purpose and decide it in two-week time.

The 1987-batch IAS officer Rama Raman is considered very close to the political leadership in the state and has been given charge of three big authorities in NCR.
