New Delhi: Replying to Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s remark, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Friday questioned whether it is appropriate that a top leader from the party make such an insensitive comment.

“Rahul Gandhi is now the top leader of his party. Does it suit him to say such things? The family he comes from does it behove him to use such words?” Prasad asked.

Dubbing Rahul’s words as frustration, the Law and IT Minister said as nation has witnessed several scams under Congress regime and now country is heading towards honesty.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi lives in people’s heart because of his work, honesty and sacrifice made for poor,” said Prasad.

The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, while chairing the Parliamentary Party meeting in absence of his ailing mother Sonia Gandhi, once again attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the latter was more interested in TRP politics.

Gandhi said,”We never gave India a PM who based his entire policy-making strategy on TRPs.” The Congress VP further stated, “The country has suffered tremendous damage as a result of vanity and incompetence of our Prime Minister.”
