Lucknow: The state is all set to elect their assembly candidates for the first phase of the election and the parties are obtaining a huge response from their supporters.
An incident showing such support could be seen in the capital city of the state where a sweets shopkeeper is frying 'lotus shaped jalebis' to show his support for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
A Sweet shop in the state capital campaigns for BJP by making 'Modi jalebis' and 'Kamal jalebis' to supports the saffron party.
The shopkeeper said that we wholeheartedly want BJP to form government in the state.
The nine constituencies of the city will go to polls in third phase of the assembly elections on February 19 and the results will be announced on March 11.
